ABOUT Marlene

Marlene Hengstberger, born and raised in Austria, obtained her diploma in Dance and Dance Pedagogy from the Kolleg für Kommerzielle Tanzstile und -Pädagogik (KKTP) in Vienna. After her successful graduation in 2022, she pursued further dance and artistic training in Berlin through the Advanced Dance Program by Sonia Bartuccelli.

Marlene attended numerous workshops and classes both domestically and internationally, immersing herself in Commercial Styles, Jazz Dance, Contemporary, Heels and Hip Hop, as well as classical styles.

Since then, she has been working as a versatile freelance dancer and dance teacher, predominantly in Austria, where she is featured in various shows, productions, and performances.

Among her notable engagements, she danced for the band No Angels at Parkbühne Wuhlheide in Berlin, in the series PARA - Wir sind King (Warner TV), in the opera "Don Giovanni" at Wiener Opernsommer 2024 and is currently engaged in the dinnershow "Gans ganz anders" presented by Krystallpalast Leipzig. Additionally, she has participated in events and shows for brands such as Sportalm Kitzbühel, ÖBB, Wella, and Puls4.

Beyond dance, Marlene has been musically active since childhood, receiving instruction in violin, piano, and voice. She has performed both as a musician and vocalist with several orchestras, ensembles, string quartets, and bands, including Jugendsinfonieorchester Niederösterreich, Kammerorchester Scheibbs, and bands such as oehl and SchmiedsPuls.

The admission to the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) provided her a year-long opportunity to further refine her musical talents through a range of valuable and diverse classes.

Inspired by her profound passion for dance, Marlene decided to dedicate her focus entirely to the art of dancing, embarking on a career as a professional dancer, where she can unite her talents and bring them to life.
